NightTide films
NightTide films was established
by South African cinematographer and director,
Jack Ruthenberg.
Inspired by the title of the 1961 cult B-movie from Curtis Harrington, starring a young Dennis Hopper who falls in love with a mermaid, NightTide films has an emphasis on playfulness and strong, memorable atmospheres.
NightTide works in everything from narrative shorts, commercial promo & branded content,
music videos, live events and fashion films.
Jack also works as AC on commercial projects, recent clients include Hello Fresh, Pure Health, Mayor of London and ICG.
